Privacy policy

What we collect

• Waitlist details: your name, email address and website, plus the link or campaign that brought you to the site, if any.
• Usage data: privacy-friendly, aggregated page analytics from Vercel Analytics, such as pages viewed, referrer and country. It does not use cookies to identify you.
• Purchase details: when you buy the Selka skill, our payment provider processes your payment and shares your name, email and order details with us. We never see your full card number.

How we use it

• To run the waitlist and tell you when the Selka app is available.
• To deliver what you buy, such as your license key.
• To understand which pages help people and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

We use a small set of providers to run Selka. Each only gets what it needs to do its job:

• Vercel: website hosting and analytics.
• Supabase: the database that stores the waitlist.
• Resend: sending our emails.
• Our payment provider for purchases, which acts as the merchant of record.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to remove them or until we no longer need them to contact you about Selka. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time. Reply to any email from us, or write to team@selka.app. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell people on the waitlist by email.
